I now look at my prior way of thinking, speaking, and responding and can see how it did not serve me or others.  If I do fall back into those modes, I pause, take a breath, center myself, and then let the words flow.  Sometimes it’s “huh!”  Other times, I keep it simple, honoring myself first.  And then I do a short affirmation that includes the phrase, “Up until now.” I enjoyed the “heart-room” and “meeting my inner-wisdom” practices the most.  I now use that regularly.
